If you just want the manservice, it has it! If you want social commentary through media, it has that too! The curtains are not just blue. I wasn't cool enough to get it but when it ended I was like... wait.... there's like a reason to this. It's not just satirizing the magical girl genre, it's not just the bits of symbolic character crumbs. It's unapologetic and it set out to make people uncomfortable for a reason and I say good job cuz I know many are lol. It's not as heavy handed as some others with ~~meaning through action~~ but I think it wouldabeen worse off if it were. If you're interested in the deeper idea, I know there's some analysis on it somewhere. If you just want to drool over fairy men, that's just as good!
