Review of The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting
While I've given this 8 stars, I'd say 7.5 stars is more accurate. It's kind of weird seeing how yakuza propaganda has evolved into here's a set of nice-ish yakuza guys in domestic situations but here we are, and that trend created this cute little story. I really liked the characters and I liked how they were able to grow and change during the series even though I think some of Kirishima's evolution as a character had already begun to change a bit before his babysitting assignment. Even though it was a pretty simple and straight-forward anime, but that was also part of its charmfor me. I will definitely be looking forward to a season two.
If you're looking for a cute series that breaks things up with a bit of comedy, drama, and action, then this might be what you're looking for. The pacing was good and the episodes did not disappoint but I also watched this on a casual level, which I think is part of the key to enjoying it.
