Review of Vinland Saga Season 2

I was never really a fan of season 1. I thought it was pretty good and then forgot about it almost instantly. This however was phenomenal. DISCLAIMER: THIS SEASON HAS LITERALLY NO ACTION WHATSOEVER. The story took a complete 180 from brutal murder, dismembered body parts flying and heads rolling at all points of the anime to being entirely focused on character progression. I think this turn of events was very good despite it no longer resembling the vinland saga of 4 years ago in any way whatsoever. If you enjoy a highly fleshed out story over heaps of action than you will most deffinitelyenjoy this. The pacing was a little slow at the start but once you get used to it it felt fine.
