Review of Sasaki and Miyano

Honestly, there was nothing really wrong with this and it could be very sweet, I just didn't feel invested in the relationship or any of the characters to any great extent. Sasaki and Miyano were clearly very good for each other, and it was nice to witness the slow burn of their relationship over the course of the season and how they realise they like one another, but unfortunately my investment level remained fairly low. It was nice seeing a soft and relatively sweeter BL anime though, especially considering this genre can tend towards the quite problematic. The relationship was very sweet, developed at a naturalplace and was consensual, plus their friends were very accepting. The way they bonded over BL manga was also something a little different. I am glad that I watched this and will definitely check out the manga at this point, which I hope I'll click with more.
