At first, it seems like your typical generic isekai anime, but as the story progresses, it gradually takes a darker turn, reaching its peak in episode 12. It’s strange how, all of a sudden, the tone of the series becomes much more serious and somber—it feels a bit unnatural to me. However, one thing I have to highlight is that this anime, at least in its first season (I’m currently watching the second), is clearly made with a lot of love from the animators and the production team as a whole. The music, at times, is incredibly emotional and well done. I’m not sure how faithfulit is to the manga, but I can say that it was at least made with "passion," so to speak. It’s something that, at least to me, is noticeable.

So yes, I definitely recommend this anime. It’s far better than the average generic isekai, though it’s hard to compare it to masterpieces like Re:Zero, Mushoku Tensei, or even Konosuba. Still, it’s definitely worth your time if you decide to give it a chance.
