Review of My First Girlfriend is a Gal

It's not some ground breaking series but it's a fun time at least. I found that the inner monologue and the reactions from his friends and the side characters made up for the lack of romance between Junichi and Yukana. I was kinda hoping this would be a slighltly more ecchi but fun version of Nagatoro with a similar level of teasing and beating up on the main protagonist. I treally isn't though, Yukana is very 'normal' and I guess the point is that it's perhaps trying to show that 'gal's' aren't as the male group thinks they are. I think Nagatoro kinda does thisbetter since while she does tease him she also does seem to care about him. Here Yukana just becomes pretty bland and I feel like there could have been a stronger reaction from her at the climactic argument. But romance aside, his friends are hilarious excecpt for the creepy loli dude (although even his friends shit on him for it...which doesn't sound like much but some anime seem to embrace loli a bit too much. So expected a little bit more mature story than Nagatoro but again it's just kinda going through the steps but still fun.
