NAGI NO ASUKARA Nagi no asukara is one of those anime's that takes a few moments to warm up. give it a few episodes and if you are still not feeling it then stop. I myself only got halfway into the first episode and put it on hold for a while, bad move. PROS Nagi no asukara does what it sets out to do in a measured fashion. It's this measured fashion that made me feel like this anime wasn't worth watching however once you delve into it, it does becoming something entertaining and unexpected. It's romance is more or less good and so is it's storyline. Nagi's true highlight is in it's character development, it's wonderful array of it's characters really do start to shine through during the second half of the series.

CONS
In saying that Nagi no asukara had great character development, I did feel somethings that one character lacked this development. Yes some things didn't make sense, it's a hard theme to keep up with (fish people) but nothing ever got to the point where it affected my enjoyment.

Should you watch?
I think Nagi no asukara is worth watching. It's true that it doesn't do anything spectacular but it's story is interesting and compelling, I wouldn't call this a true slice of life anime but more of an adventure romance.
