Review of Pop Team Epic

I enjoyed Pop Team Epic (Poputepipikku) the same way I enjoy memes, in moderation. Pop Team is essentially memes the anime. This isn't a bad thing, the quick nature of jokes is lol XD random but some of them are reoccurring and the references can be on point. The translation from 4-koma to anime was actually extremely successful, no great changes in tone. There's an overarching story which pops in and can be amusing. Yeah, recommended if you like Nichijou, or 4-komas. If you like more sophisticated and built up jokes then it won't be your thing. To be fair the jokes can be hit ormiss, I disliked the in between sections personally.
Voice acting is what can make or break this, there's a huge cast of voice actors from all over who add their voices to the main two female characters, this includes male voices. You'll figure out quickly which version (Male or Female) you enjoy.

Overall, wouldn't watch again, I know the jokes now. But want to watch or continue, give it a shot.
