Review of Pop Team Epic

That certainly is an interesting experience. Comedy is subjective so not everyone is going to find this funny but honestly I don't know if my sense of humour is broken but I do actually laugh at some of the skits like the Donca Sis segment or the Marilyn Monroe skit. What I can acnowlege the show does really well though is the different unique animation styles they're using like the puppets, eight bit pixel animation, skecthy 2d style and others. The hellshake yano flipbook segment is also really creative and cool. Howver, sometimes the anime can be too self aware like I appericite it knowingthat it's shit but maybe they might of overplayed the meta a bit too much like there's at least one joke in every episode where they called out themselves for being shit and it can be really tiring sometimes. There's also a reliant on pop culture references but thankfully they frontloaded it all only in the first episode and spread it out throughout the show so good for them (also didn't expect that undertale reference). Other than that, in a sketch comedy like this not all the jokes are going to land and it's more apparent here as somethimes I don't really get the punchline they're tyring to make and in other times it's just random bullshit happening and that's basically the joke. So the comedy can pretty hit or miss sometimes.

But overall I did have an ok time with it and I would recommend it if this is your type of humour.
