Review of The Ancient Magus' Bride

I rarely watch anime as they air, people get over hyped or under hyped and it takes a while for the dust to settle and see what is shining brightly and what is not. I watched the first episode the day it aired and then I let it be because it got really really hyped up. As of writing this I have completed my watch of it, was it worth the hype, no it was not, however, it is still in my top 50 anime that I've seen. There is a magical feel put in the music and the art that really sells it tome. I am the kind of person that enjoys learning more about the world than the people in it, which is one of the major reasons I liked the build up of the show, learning about the mages and the other magical factions kept me intrigued in the story that was unfolding before me.
