Hello :3. To start this review, I'll begin by saying that this one is a favorite of mine and I recommend it to anyone no matter who they might be so to begin I'll talk a bit about each category and then freely. First the story, it's very compelling and accurate by the Japanize culture which is very important when you make a Japanize love story, in addition to the accuracy of the build and aspects they made all episodes able to touch you in an emotional way and they didn't do some bad "popular" habits that shows like this do in their timeline build It'sa great composition that doesn't stray from its main story of the main character's love growth.

The art, I liked the art very much, it wasn't very flashy or dark nor was it mainstream in any why, the characters were not all 10–20-year-old no matter who they were (except the teacher :p ), also i must talk about the insane detail work on every scene so awesome and pretty i wish every serious animation studio did this in their work.

Music and sound, the music was very on point in every scene in addition wasn't overused which didn't interrupt the flow of the story in any way, voice actors were good not much to say in either way, ambient sounds were on point and almost not noticeable if you didn't try to hear them.

My favorite part was the characters, Kotarou personality at the start was underwhelming and seemed like a picture of any confused kid in the 3rd year of middle school shy, lazy and awkward when it comes to girls.
The nice part is when you get to see this normal guy who isn't popular in school nor comes from a wealthy family, mature and develops into a more confident and hardworking guy who knows what he wants and who, a true character i think anyone can identify with and be inspired by.
Akane is a shy and generic girl who loves running and has two groups of friends whom she hangs out with in class or club. True to her feelings, her shy and awkward personality grows and matures beautifully shown in her relationship with her sister along with her attachment to Kotarou, the other characters are not just supporting the main story thanks to the after-end credits we get sneak pic's in to their thoughts and life, Takumi and Chinatsu are not over played or bad so you'd hate them you can even empathized with their struggles and hardships i never hated a character but wished to see Kotarou and Akane together truly an amazing job.

a disclaimer this will have a bit of spoilers :3.

I Loved Clannad and this show is amazing also while not as rich as a story but the simplicity is an upside because it was good without too much story, loved the story of roman & Ryouko as well as Setsuko & shou it was funny and added a bit of humor to the otherwise thence air, the show was flawless but one part at the end the scene was Akane broke down in tears over the thought she'd be trouble for Kotarou when they were walking alongside the river I for the love of god didn't understand why the hell Kotarou just stood there like a statue and didn't say a thing while she broke down and ran away, that scene was weird and seemed lazy after all the progress those two have made together but that's why I didn't give it a 10 so yea good just one bit gave me the "what the f** was that" moment.

thanks for reading.
