Review of Fire Force

(general) If you are undecided on weather or not you should watch this anime, I suggest you give it an honest try. Even episode one has a lot to unpack and it sets up the story in a fun and interesting way. It has really cool and creative fight choreography throughout not to mention the sound track is very enjoyable. Overall, not particularly a MUST watch per-say, but there is undoubtedly something everyone can enjoy about this show one way or another. (Characters) The characters are another important thing that all shows should do good at. While fire force is not particularly well-known for its characters,I do believe that they are all very well thought out and fit the genera perfectly. You have the main character Shinra, who (while admittedly following Shonen norm) is passionate about his goals and will never give up on his duty. Its also sick to watch him kick but while pulling gang signs! Then you have captain Obi, (one of my favorites) who has no fire powers and is one of the most fleshed out and thorough characters in the series.

(power system) its not the most complex but that's not a bad thing. On top of that, there is still a lot that we as viewers learn and discover along with the characters in the show. To put it in better words, there is a basic system that is easy to understand and introduces new concepts throughout the story that add depth and more layers to the characters as well.

(openings and endings) They are almost all on my playlist. Take that how you like.

(sound effects) I think the thing that sets this show apart from all other shows it's amazing sound effects. They fit the situation and make the fight more enjoyable to watch.

(conclusion) 8 out of 10. Very good watch.
