Review of Ping Pong the Animation
Blood tastes like iron. We are all alive. Table tennis is a freaking blast. This anime might not change your life, but it explores inspiring themes like the benefits of hard work, what it truly means to follow a passion, and what loving life is all about. This show is the most concise, meaningful, and complete display of humanity I have seen in any media. The amazing soundtrack that always perfectly match the feeling of a scene, the unique art style that exudes emotion and life, the phenomenal screenplay that pulls your heart in all directions, and the deeply empathetic characters that each represent a different wayof interaction with passion, evolving as players and humans, give this show not only depth unlike anything else I've ever seen, but a feeling of pure fun through and through.
Every time I come back to it, the lens through which I think about the themes has changed because of my own growth, and it never fails to give me new wisdom.
I recommended this show to all of my friends and I am pissed that they haven't watched it yet, which is why this review HAD to be written. It needed to come out one way or another.
Ping Pong is just that good.
