Review of The 8th Son? Are You Kidding Me?

- May Contain Spoiler - when I first saw this I really laughed so hard that my stomach started hurting, that what kind of joke is this, I am really seeing this, this is really a hilarious joke. First episode and everything after the Nobel party, ah my bad poor noble show off party (hilarious). Plus this does look like it's a transfer to another world anime (well it is actually), just what my point is it has some lack of explanation, there just 1 thing - ah I am feeling sleepy and eyes closed and when opened - transfer to another world. There are manyflaws in the explanation. But still, if we overlook these flaws and some other stuff the story is not that bad. There are many obvious things which you can presume about what may happen next.

Story - As I said the story is not bad if we overlook some things here. Story starts with an office worker getting transfer to another world when he sleeps (as soon as he closes his eyes). Now he is the 8th son of a poor noble family, and later he finds out he has the potential of magic in him, because of his magic potential he gets trained by the previous Great Magician to inherit his magic and so he decided to leave his home to become an adventurer. and then the later story is little assumable and obvious - achievement, glory, position etc. etc.

so the thing is the story what we have seen in the anime is not that bad, MC who is lucky and has magic potential, on top of that he has far greater potentail than the previous Magician - yes overpowered MC confirmed. After that story becomes little bit interesting. and the actual good part in anime, are the last few episodes.

Art, sound, Characters - The art and animation are we can say average, they are not on amazing level. As for characters in anime they are fair, the main are done well but for supporting they won't give much of an impact.
About the sound, music and background stuff and voice dubbing, I think are done really well. I really liked the opening theme of anime and its music.

Enjoyment - As for the enjoyment, they have tried to make it funny - not bad if think about some stuff. Tried to make some lovey-dovey moments for our MC - not bad (were they need?), could have done something better than this. Tried to make harem kind of situation also could have done better. so basically they could have done little better to increase excitement and fun to watch anime.

(i should be giving an overall score 6, but there are some scenes and moments which I liked, plus the sound and music part is done good so +1 for all that.)
