I gave this OVA a 8. Despite it being disturbingly sweet, it looks like it would be an outstanding anime for 8-12 year old girls. It is kinda stereotypical of what the Japanese seem to think girls want to watch, ie. sweet and cloying romance, but no one needs to be watching just this kinda anime all the time. That is what made me drop it from a 9 to an 8 truth be told. I continuously compared it to children's talking animal cartoons of the west and came see this as a "workable" premise, in that it seems to be around a "power" of the dog. Ithink it generally works better for that than most of the wests attempts.

Overall, I would recommend it for kids (girls).
