Review of Sword Art Online

There is not a single trace of intelligence in the creation of this show. The action is corny, the character development is non-existent if not completely backward (I'm looking at you, pathetic excuse of a tsundere Asuna), and essentially everything and everyone in the universe revolves around how amazing the main character is. It's honestly written like a high school boy's fantasy - lame, uncreative, full of holes, with an unrivaled hero as the MC that has zero flaws and manages to make every girl fall in love with him. This show was physically painful to watch. I managed to sit through it all becausecringe is my favorite type of humor, but the fact that people unironically enjoy this show is just depressing.
