Review of Black Lagoon

A japanese businessman named rock gets captured by the mercenary group called Black Lagoon. Tired of his mundane corporate life, Rock sticks with the lagoon company becoming a part of their gang. Have you ever watched any action films like Die Hard, The Matrix, or erminator 2: Judgement Day? Well this great anime series is like those films. There's a lot of guns and action. I never really like rewatching anime but Black Lagoon is the only series I rewatch from time to time. There's just so much action in every episode, you'll never get bored. The story is good enough. It's ananime that focuses on a lot of action so don't expect the story to be amazing like Evangelion and Berserk. The art is quality! I love realism in anime so the art in Black Lagoon is a big win for me. The sound is point. I prefer the dub because the voice actors do a better job in my opinion. One of the characters is russian, right? Why would a russian speak Japanese. It would make more sense to watch the dub because most of the characters speak english except for the yakuza. As for characters, there's plenty of interesting characters in this show. My favourite character is Revy who does most of the fighting for Black Lagoon. She dual wields two pistols in battle and has a fiery personality. She would eat Erza Scarlet for breakfast, trust me. Overall if you love guns and action, this show is for you.
