Review of High School of the Dead

After watching Highschool of the Dead, I have learned many things, one of these being this: Just because it's literally just fan-service doesn't mean that the entirety of it will be bland. I got a few kicks out of watching this, laughing along a few scene, but the story has been tried and tested before, so, although the scene of a 'Zombie Apocalypse' is a great idea, western movies have saturated my love for the 'End of The World'. Highschool of the Dead adds a fresh take on the traditional scenario of Zombies taking over, where survival is put first (Like all zombie movies, for obvious reasons.) however,the characters accidental actions lead to perverse situations.

I enjoyed the comedy and I can laugh at parts of this anime, however, the story for me fell short, even if it isn't the creators fault of the oversaturation of the Zombies genre, I feel that the design and sound is great, but that doesn't make up for the lacklustre story and focus on *JUST* fanservice.
