Review of High School DxD

Highschool DxD is iconic for one specific reason, nudes. It may be a battle style anime, but the creators bring a lot of fan service for anyone watching. Story - 6 This is the average undermined protagonist story, where a character is thrown into a crazy situation with an unknown and strong power. It is fun to see the dynamic between the three different "races", but it seems kind of bland on story. Art - 7 This is a fan-service nightmare, not nearly as bad as highschool of the dead, but the creators brought some beautiful art and fight scenes to the table. I didn't expect the qualityof fights from this series.

Sound - 6
Average, the OP and Ed are ok and the background music adds some depth to emotional scenes.

Characters - 7
These characters are pretty fun, it's good too see the girls tease Issei, but that's about all you'll get from heartwarming character interactions.

Issei is a good male protagonist, he may have this amazing power, but he still has many faults.

Rias is a pretty good female character, first shown of as invincible, but shortly put into place.

Asia is an odd character in my eyes, she seemed as a background character that somehow got thrown into the main character list, but she is fun nonetheless.

This is probably one of the most made fun of series out there, but I was surprised to see how much love was put into the action and character. I woul recommend to anyone into action and doesn't mind seeing a few nip slips.
