Review of Trigun
I must state that the art and character design of the main character Vash does not represent his personality. Also despite enjoying the show I have in the past stopped watching two times out of sense of disappointment over misunderstanding the theme of the show: Pacifism. This is a very hard to write a review because for one thing I want you to understand that central theme of the show deals with the creative solutions in how Vash gets out of dangerous situations without resorting to act of murder and the situations that challenge this belief. Also it takes awhile to delve into Vash's backstory intowho he is and why he has such a huge bounty on his head.
In terms of characters I would say that Vash and character of Wolfwood are interesting characters in theme of pacifism displays.
This is not a show that is easy to get into but the last few episodes provide one of the best stuff that anime does have to offer. What begins with fun and comedy ends with sense of tragedy. If you can weather through finishing the show I belief it can give a sense appreciation over the characters of Wolfwood and Vash compared to many generic anime protagonists in many anime today.
However if you cannot I would heavily suggest to try to reach ep 15 or 14 when a certain villian is introduced that heavily challenge's Vash's beleifs over never taking a life under at any circumstance.
If still doesn't appeal to you then I'm sorry to have wasted your time but I do hope some aspect of the show did appeal to you in some way.
