Review of Fairy Tail

I enjoyed this anime a lot. Story is a 7 in my opinion. Basically the anime is the adventures of Lucy, Natsu, Happy, Erza, Gray, Wendy, and Carla as they take on many quests. They come across villains, fight them and win through the power of friendship which is a theme most people don't seem to like although it is found in many shounen anime (If you don't enjoy power of friendship, fanservice, or plot armor then this show isn't right for you but I say give it a shot!). There's quite a number of plot holes though. Some fights are fair and some arenot. In the end Fairy Tail powers up and saves the day. Now for the art, I'd say it's a 8 overall. The first season was more bright and colorful, the second season had much better animation in my opinion but with darker colors, and the last season was pretty much the same as the second except it got bright once again. Sound is a 10, good voice actors and sound affects. I liked both the sub and dub for the anime. Also I enjoyed the ops and eds. The characters are a 7, their personalities are totally different from each other. They don't change much except for the bad guys which usually become good and this is also something you may not like. The characters also don't change physically, maybe just small changes like hair or something. Throughout the series I'd say the only big change in them is their power. Enjoyment is a 10. In my opinion it has many amazing arcs like the Grand Magic Games arc which is probably the most loved arc in the whole show. I also enjoyed the Tartaros arc. The anime has good fights but once again lot's of plot armor. Despite the show's weak points I enjoyed it very much. It still remains one of my all time favorites as it was the 3rd anime I ever watched. 10/10 Overall.
