Review of The Secret World of Arrietty

The tiny people living within the world of giant humans. The tiny girl, Arrietty, was accidentally seen by a boy, and this could endanger the safety of her family. The movie lived up to the Studio Ghibli’s standard of having beautiful animation. The tiny house that the tiny family lived in looked real and cozy. Also, the dollhouse looked even better with lots of details. The tiny family was very likable. The time they spent together and the situation they were in made me care for them and wanted them to be safe and happy. The relationship between Arrietty and the young boy was alsosweet. The boy’s story was sad, which made me care for the both of them more and wanted them to be happy.

Overall, it’s a pretty enjoyable family movie with a cozy, cute, and small story. 7.5/10
