Okay! Stop! I was lying! I wasn't tired! I came back for a review of this second season considering how good it was!! Please don't beat me up!! Aight. Hello again. Deusen Moose here, with another review. I lied about saying I was tired in the last review of the original Higurashi, but I just couldn't stay away from doing this review. This is so much better than the first season, I just... just couldn't keep my hands away from the keyboard. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai takes a turn and bases the story off of Furude Rika. I said that in my last review, butthat season wasn't based off of Rika. It was morally based around Keiichi , in others eyes, but I really like this season better than the first one. There's a lot of reasons why.

Furude Rika won't stop dying. She keeps on dying over and over again, but often reincarnated into the same world to overcome the same fate. She gets her friends to help her, but, sometimes they don't succeed, but I can't really give away any more details. But, basically, Rika is a millennium year old girl who just wants to escape fate, grow older, and get breasts. Literally. She mentions that she wants breasts in one of the episodes.

The graphics in this season are quite improved. Yes, I won't shut up about the graphics. Maybe I should of been called 'Graphics Critic'. But, they're slightly improved and Rika's hair color changed, don't know why, pretend not to notice it... No don't look directly at it! Goddamit! You idiots!

Eh... now... the soundtrack in this one is...

PURE GOLD.

The soundtrack in this season is extremely legendary! The opening song to the anime is so great, I even know how to sing it! I know, it kind of sounds weird, but I can actually sing this entire song, not sing, but I know all the words to it. I can pronounce them perfectly. In the first season, I didn't know what the fuck was being said.

The soundtrack alone, without the anime, would make a great performance at a concert. Yes, I am saying this. You gonna bust my head open with Satoshi's metal baseball bat? Didn't think so. But, not a lot of people would appreciate the Japanese music, because they're cocks, and they don't appreciate Japanese culture, the racist cocks. Enough jibber-jabber. To the TARDIS! What? I didn't say anything.

I only really have to introduce a couple new characters, but the characters are truly awesome. I don't even know if I have to introduce characters, but just tell the audience how good they are. Audience. I seriously used that term?

I forgot to mention Kurado Ooishi who is the head of police, I think. He often helps Keiichi and the gang through tough situations, but gets 420 noscoped by somebody on his way to Rika's house.

Akasaka whatever his first or last name is, is actually one of my favorites. He took a punch to the chest, and beat the crap out of that guy that I forgot the name of. He's so epic. I guess you could call him... CHEST OF STEEL!! No? Anyone?

Jirou Tomitake is actually of more importance in this season. He often is a spy to Miyo Takano, who is the main antagonist of this season. She is the one that, does that stuff I mentioned above about killing. So, he is often set as a spy, and often is killed by Takano. Is that a spoiler, I don't know anymore... Or maybe he survives. I forget.

In conclusion, the characters are just awesome. AWESOME.

I enjoyed this season much more than the first season. The first season made me make a what the fuck face the entire season, not knowing what the fuck was going down. This season made more sense to me, considering they were the answer arcs of the story. I think overall, this anime deserves a 10. It cleared so much things that happened in the first season...

So... it gets a 10. You fine with that? Huh? HUHHH!!?

Enjoy the anime as much as I did, if not, more.
