Honestly, it was way better than I expected — a quick and fun read ! The premise is pretty bizarre, and I’m not really used to this kind of BL. If you aren’t either, this one might be a hit or a miss for you. I don’t want to spoil too much, so I’ll just cover the basics: one of our main characters is a talent scout, and the other is a succubus who needs s*men to survive and evolve. I kinda wish the story had shown more of the showbiz side, since that’s a really fun sub-genre. At first, the talent scout plans to turnour succubus into an idol, but that idea gets dropped pretty quickly — instead, he tries to make him an escort, promising that it’ll help him “get plenty of what he needs.”

The first few chapters honestly drove me a bit crazy — there was so much miscommunication. The succubus ends up agreeing to become an escort even though he clearly didn’t want to, just because the scout kept pushing, and he only went along with it because he was in love… it was a lot ;A; !!!

But as the story went on, I actually started to appreciate them more. Despite the weird and over-the-top premise, their emotions and reactions felt surprisingly real at times. I ended up getting attached to both of them — their flaws, their feelings — and the humor really carried the story. It made me laugh and kept me entertained the whole way through.

I’m not a huge fan of the ending though. Once again, the succubus ends up doing things he doesn’t want to just to impress the scout, and it all felt a bit rushed. Still, it’s a short, fun read that’s easy to get through, and I’d recommend it if you’ve got a bit of free time and wanna read a, kinda, over-the-top premise !
