Vermeil in Gold is an example of a good story told poorly. At the story's beginning, it looks like this anime has nothing special. Instead, it started like an average anime without anything to highlight. The last three chapters will change your mind. Vermeil in Gold is a story with a lot of potential and with characters' personalities very well built. Sadly, in a world with thousands of average animes and strong competition, it is the author's responsibility to create a story that catches the audience's attention from the beginning. Sadly, the poor storytelling of Vermeil in Gold will cause the majority of the audience could lose interest inthe first three chapters.

I believe that Vermield in Gold has a lot of potential. But the mistake of average storytelling will condemn this story to enter into the purgatory of animes with good potential that will never have a second season.
