Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san (2021) Honestly, at first, I thought the bullying thing maybe could have had an effect but it seems people were more bothered that people can get a suntan than anything. I thought Senpai was going to be an awful character all the way through but this show actually shows development which was just so great to see. The story is pretty pure, taking a love story from a different angle. The art is pretty amazing if I am honest since it, for example, it has pencil drawings animated which when you think about it is mind-blowing in its own right. You get characters thatyou can genuinely see their emotions and actions but most of all they make it so obvious which characters really don't matter by not giving them eyes. Something about anime I always find amazing is how no one really is bothered by that but a live-action show with no eyes would be awfully scary. A thing I love is Hayase Nagatoro and her cat ears that pop out of her head when she is curious or up to something.

The OP and ED are great, the ED is especially great. The general sounds and such are great and the voice of Hayase Nagatoro is superb and so is the voice of Sakura.

The characters do develop and I mean all of the ones with eyes which is great. I love that they didn't just focus on the main two since knowing the friends and such actually mattered to the storyline. I do wonder what Sakura is doing in her spare time by her character, especially with that club she joined up with.

Although Nagatoro and Sakura are awesome I actually think my favourite girl was Maki. I will be honest but I never really warmed up to Yoshi apart from that one time she was walking her dog and the president is okay, I do love her deep red eyes.

I will say episode 11 has a great Attack on Titan reference and as you would expect this show does have confessions in their own way of doing it. As much as Senpai gets toyed with I must say it is a pleasure seeing Nagatoro get embarrassed. I also enjoyed that Nagatoro voice actress is also Dekomori from Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!

9/10 for me, I really want another season and some OVA's if possible.
