Zatsu Tabi: That's Journey · review
Zatsu Tabi is exactly the kind of anime I've been looking for. I really love this show. It introduces and showcases many travel destinations in Japan—places that many people, especially foreigners, may not be familiar with. Each episode provides detailed information, including travel routes, estimated costs, travel time, and recommendations for local food specialties. This anime is clearly made for viewers who just want to sit back, relax, and enjoy something light without needing to think too hard or go through emotional rollercoasters. Some might see this as a tourism promotion campaign for Japan, but for me, that's not a bad thing at all. In fact, that's exactlywhat I've been looking for—an easygoing anime that takes you on a journey across Japan with all its unique destinations.
The animation quality isn't top-tier, but it's definitely not bad either. It's more than enough to beautifully portray the charm of the real locations.
Overall, I genuinely enjoyed this anime because it perfectly matches my personal taste: relaxing and travel-themed. I highly recommend this show to anyone who shares the same preferences.
