Review of Dan Da Dan

My expectations were too high, this is the typical weird anime for weird nerds that you could never recommend to a newbie. I guess I'm too sane to really enjoy the horny crazy nonsense that is Dandadan. If it weren't for mappa hard carrying with the absolutely jaw dropping animation I wouldn't have made it past the forth episode. THAT ONE SCENE in Acrobatic silky's backstory still gives me chills. If you like shonen with a quick paced, chaotic and simple plot line (plus a lot of innuendos and horniness) you'll enjoy this one. I tend to prefer stories that develop through the growth of smartly writtencharacters whereas dandadan is the opposite of that.

Also nasty fucking cliffhanger now I have to watch the 2nd Season which I wasn't even planning on doing (yes I see the bait and yes I'm taking it)

It's really subjective with this one, you'll either like it or not. I guess if you enjoyed Kill la kill you'll also like this one? Cuz in my case. I liked neither.
