Review of Sasaki and Miyano

How has this not gotten more 10 star reviews? This is a ten star BL anime! The characters are realistic, the story is realistic, the feelings are realistic. This anime (and the manga) explain and subvert the most toxic BL tropes. It’s a wholesome anime that doesn’t rely on stereotypes. The only frustrating thing is that it takes sooooo long to get the reward, but when it happens it is 100% worth it. And it’s like that in real life too. You don’t suddenly kiss a guy and make him gay. It takes time to realize your feelings. Some people have known all their lifethat they felt a certain way. But others discover it. And sometimes you don’t need or want to assign labels like “seme/uke” or “gay/straight” and this anime shows that you don’t have to either. The characters are also so sweet and accepting of their friends. Apart from the story, the music is top notch and the animation is stunning. This is the representation the LGBT+ community needs more of.
