Horimiya is your typical high school romance anime that may lightens your mood and may get easily attached with the enjoyable characters that have their own charms. But if your looking for a romance anime with good plotline well this series may not reach your expectations. I will give you the following reasons: -it has too shallow story line to back up each episode, it's like there is no major happenings in the story that will get you excited for what's going to happen next. -for the first 3 episodes it only shows little background of what is really happening before Hori and Miyamura met. -Hori's backstory isn'tshowed that much, we only get this smart and kind girl character who does not really care about guys who are interested in her.
-Well I felt the second lead character such as Yuki and Tooru has more story and depth throughout the series which for me overshadowed Hori and Miyamura's love story.
-We only get small exposure of the lives of Hori and Miyamura after they are dating which is quite makes the series dragging, they get to spend their time together in the same setting for the whole series which makes the audience wonder if how they are going to act in different settings.
- I've only finished this series because I got attached with the other characters life rather than the main ones.

What I like in the Series:

-Miyamura's growth in which he had learned to face his fears and anxiety that bind him up to not socialize with his peers
-Miyamura's subtle actions that shows his love for Hori, though you might say it is very simple and common but if you understand Miyamura's side, it is a huge step for him to finally trust others and open his heart
- Hori's character in which it played a major role in changing Miyamura's into the person he is today in the series.
-Fun side characters, it's like your typical highschool squad who is facing different challenges as they are going into adulthood.
-Well I also the like the art style of the anime, the characters move fluidly and colors matches the vibe of the story
-Overall I can say Horimiya is a good one, if your are just looking an anime with a light ending and cute romcom vibes but I think it can be so much better if they add more elements in the story.
