Review of Chainsaw Man

Chainsaw Man was incredibly enjoyable. It does its job to make you feel like the main character is strong yet is always in danger. Death is played with a bit more than other anime for example, if someone were shot in the head they could still be alive since they're demons. It definitely subverts expectations and the cast is very enjoyable. The opening and all the endings were fantastic, the music was great, the animation was pretty good and I enjoyed myself thoroughly without ever being bored. While I do find the style to be a bit worse than its source material, I can stilladmit the animation is well done. The small tidbits of unexpected events makes this a bit more enjoyable than your average Shonen but as of this first season it does not stray too far from its genre.
