Review of Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadow
To be honest, I don't know why people hate solo leveling. You'll just review bomb anything that gets more attention than your favorite anime. Anyway, solo leveling starts with Sun Jin Woo being the weakest hunter of all time, fighting in dungeons to make money and save his mother from deep slumber or whatever it's called, but then suddenly he gets stuck in a double dungeon and gets tested to become a "player" and has the ability to get stronger with every level he gets like in a video game (this is important to the story later on, and they also explain why the powers weregiven)
This anime is good and is filled with action + nice animation. The story was a bit mid, but I can see why people think that, and it's because it's very short. The manwha has 180 chapters, and the anime covers 3/4 chapters every episode, and they also cut a lot of stuff out.
So yeah, the pacing is not that great, but there's still hope since there's a sequel to solo leveling, and it's called solo leveling Ragnarök.
Other than that, there's really nothing wrong with it, like every time I watch an anime I always fall asleep, but solo leveling kept me hooked and awake.
This anime doesn't compare to one piece or any big anime, but it's definitely getting up there. Maybe in 50 episodes lol
Conclusion: 8.5/10 or 9.0/10. 100% recommend watching this.
