Review of Koi Kaze

INCEST!!!! Let's be real, the only reason why I decided to watch Koi Kaze was because of the incest taboo. I'll admit it. As an identical twin, (no i'm not in love with her, ya nasty) I understand the intense bond that can form between close sibling. Maybe that's why i'm drawn to Koi Kaze's intense romance. I liked how we got to explore a deeper level of romance that cannot exist outside of taboo. I also enjoyed how the show takes a dark approach instead of taking a campy or "porny" approach. I was unable to predict the story's direction, which is a goodthing for me (i love not knowing how a show is going to end). Even though I enjoyed seeing how the romance unfolded, i was disappointed in the tepid ending. Overall, I recommend Koi Kaze to fans of of the Josei genre like myself.
