I did not like this. It was like the story was trying to be a complete reboot (or rewrite) of the original "Jokei Kazoku". Well, all I can say is what they were trying to do didn't work. The characters weren't likeable, the art was merely passable, and the story felt rushed. And because there was only one episode...so much is left unquestioned - such as, how did the main villain come into power, who exactly were all those women, why is everyone on the island, how did the main character end up working for the man responsible for destroying his family, why does hekeep getting headaches, how exactly does he plan on executing his revenge scheme, etc. And the ending is the worst part, because since there's only one episode, the whole story ends on a cliffhanger; so we have no idea how the story ends, and what will be resolved. While I wasn't crazy about the original...it was definitely superior to this one in almost every way.

But as always...these are just my opinions.
