POV: it's the 90s. Freddie Mercury is dead, gas is affordable, and the goths keep getting weirder. You turn on your TV and put in a VHS tape labeled Angel Cop. Doesn't matter why you bought it, but you're greeted by a shot of a city, with the camera just zooming in on a still image, and narration about the commies terrorist group. Violence ensues, oh my god there's so much violence, and the voice acting makes it fucking hilarious. Angel can be a bitch when she wants to and I guess that's all the time. I honestly think they did a great job withthe animation for the time, and the character designs are ok. On the surface it looks like it's just gonna be another shoot em up cop show, but it's actually about psychics using their brain power to stop the commies, and kill anyone who gets in their way. The evil psychic looks like her tits are volley balls nailed to a board, asura looks like goddamn Brian May, and I'm convinced the kid is just an adult woman talking really high. This show is extremely stupid. I love it and absolutely recommend it
