A story about a poor girl that is bought by a mean rich man. At first, I was thought it was a terrible story, but after I read more, I started to like it even better. The main character is kind and caring, trying to make her new husband happy. The husband starts off being a tyrant to her, but later becomes loving. How can a marriage not be based off of love? They try, but will they succeed?
