Its very well done. The animation is clean, the characters are unique, the story moves around but its gundam so its the typical space politics. I've seen a couple of the gundam series now and this is by far the best one. Its aimed at more of a mature audience so kids will probably get lost in the high level thinking/plot/politics. I dont know if I would have liked this when I was younger because I would not of had the education and world view to understand some of the finer points. I think the story is a unique take on the series as awhole and I am sad to say I just found this in the year of 2025. This and Gundam Witch from Mercury are probably my top modern picks for mech anime.
