Review of ReLIFE

First things first. My "reviews" system is explained on a blog entry. Which can be found through my profile. ------ ✦Story A very bittersweet and melancholic story about a man who got screwed up by ugly "adults" and rotten society, which made him to become NEET and was a given to relive his high school experience. I did enjoy this story quite a lot, maybe it wasn't as amazing, but I did love all the emotions that went through there. The progression and growth of the story was as well quite bliss to look at. Many bittersweet moments and with a really satisfying and cute way to wrapthings up. Lot of great dialogues and quotes.. ah.. kinda sad that words don't really affect me anymore in positive way. Otherwise Anime would give so much more strength in life. But nevertheless I did enjoy the story aspect of this Anime, it was sweet, sad and quite beautiful.

✦Art & Sound
It was good but nothing special. Nothing else to comment regarding art.

As for OST & Music, I did love many endings. But the OST felt really odd. It had strong presence which I did like quite a lot, but the issue with OST I had, was that it felt really all over the place and inconsistent. As if they crammed possible as much artist they could into one show. A way to self-promote. But nevertheless there were bunch of OST I liked and loved some ending songs. Whilst opening, I cannot even remember.

✦Character
MC being some "NEET?" More like really good person who cares and is able to manage himself got screwed over by corrupted human trash. Funny how "adults" are often described as lying rotten pigs who only think how to get more money or step over someone and if they don't like someone or honesty and straightforwardness then they use their position to pressure peers or even blackmail. And outcome in this Anime was shown great. I mean I personally would also disagree with deception, lies, using others for self-profit etc... but I would end up more likely like that woman. As I don't really have the kind and strength trait like the main character of this show.

Anyhow.. did love Chizuru as well a lot.. hurt person with a strong sense of mystery and "weirdness" love such people. They mostly quiet which is a strong charm point but also in a sense very weak and have really important values. Her emotions were really suppressed, but once they leaked, it was such a nice feeling..

The "observers" were odd but very pretentious.. I hate people "acting" ... they are simply such fake and I find it moronic how society is grown by such acting. Being "self" is most important IMO. Not putting up fake smile and personality to have an "image" . For such bs., go in theater or become an actor.

Also bunch of really nice and cute sidekicks. Although cannot be bothered to comment them.

✦Enjoyment & Overall
It started good, but then the emotions over time became stronger and the really sweet way to wrap things up was another point to raise score for me. Nevertheless as mentioned at the start, it was very bittersweet melancholic Anime, which is probably the thing I loved about the most.
