Review of The King's Avatar

Story [8]: The story is in my opinion very good. This is like the first E-Sports anime (at least as far as I'm aware) and it does a really good job despite revolving around an MMO type of game. Art [9]: The art is really pretty and the animation is absolutely well done. Far better than most shows created nowadays. Sound [9]: The opening is definitely as masterpiece, at first I thought f*ck it (as with every opening), but as I progressed in the show, I didn't want to skip it anymore as I found it thát good. The rest of the OST's are just good andstrengthen the story and fights.
Character [8]: The MC is a little bit of an arrogant person (imo) but is also compassionate and above all, very passionate about the game he loves to play. Most other more 'supporting' characters are well build and introduced, some of them even grow during the series.
Enjoyment [9]: There are parts which I wouldn't rate a 9, but there are enough that I do, which is quite rare for me. I just found it very enjoyable how the show progresses, how the characters dealt with situations and all that sort of stuff.
Overall [9]: I think all the above sums it up pretty well.
