eapp2017 nisekoi or in english "false love", an anime that is about a son of a yakuza gang is enganged to a foreign daughter of a mafia gang in order to make them keep at peace. The story wasn't the main strength of this anime, it just shows the cliched dramas from childhood promises, to school and family matters, absurd mishaps and misunderstandings, which audiences wasn't expecting it to be about. In my opinion the story is quite not believable, it seems it is too much "not natural" at some point because of certain conditions mainly because that it this is an harem anime. Plus thestory is getting nowhere as you progess through the show it just is like that, that is the main purpose of the show, to not emphasize the gang war but rather the daily lives of the relationships of the protagonists.

Typically there is nothing really action happening in highschool romcoms so the expected art was really unexpected, the art really impressive. the animators where just able to pull great visuals on the characters, the environment and the things that they are interacting with (eg. food). The art was very colorful and pleasant, yes they encorporate a lot of sparkly stuff and it was not that bland because other highschool animes it's not as colorful an appealing rather dark environment (eg. Say I Love You). They were able to emphasize the characters' emotions and feeling though the changing the art of the background, also the character design was spot on for each an every character. They were able to animate what they are really need to do as it says in the manga with some exaggeration (eg. jumping from the 2nd floor of the building), which for me is not a dissapointment because people always hate it when a adaptaion of a book turns into a film. Of all that in art i would give this anime a solid 10/10, from the sparkling, shimmering that the always put to make it more lively and colorful to the characters' form (eg. chibi form).

The characters, I loved them. Even though the story was cliched, what I like about this anime is its' characters. From the faces to the attitudes, this anime showed what it needs to show. I just love Onodera as she blushes, being flustered or just straight up being happy. I love her to the point that I keep a framed picture of her in my room. All those aside even though I hate Chitoge due to her attitude, she is just she needs to be or this show would not be Nisekoi. Every character is important for the story to progress, even though the story is getting nowhere. The side characters is also wee done even though they have a minor role in th show. The tsundere main girl? Check, the cute chilhood good girl? Check, the dense main guy? Check, that annoying friend who gets his butt kicked in every episode? Check. There is no character that is not needed in this show to make this show as funny and very lovable as it possibly as it can be.

A good anime needs a good soundtrack and nisekoi did not fail the audiences on providing that. The intro song was really flowy, very cathcy I really like on how songs to make the anime more romcom-ish rather just a normal romcom anime. The background music is superb, there was never a dead air scene and the music is really appropriate for the scene, example when Onodera greets Raku and then Raku blushes like a tomato, with all the sparkly effects, the music made the scene more loveable, enjoyable and complete. Another example, when in some cases drama shows up the music is able to amplify the feelings that the audience feel, it made it more heavier rather if there is no music. The music was great, especially the BGMs and the intro. Another thing that made the music great was the outro songs, it was unique because majority of animes the outro is just the same all season long but in this show the song changes with a recpective character as the center of that songs and i personally like it that way so I won't skip the outro song every episode.

Overall this anime for me is a different but cliched anime, very enjoyable especially for people seeking a romcom genre and really funny anime. The enjoyment factor was so high that you will watch the entire season for just one-sitting like I did and needless to say this anime is raging wars on the internet whether who is the best girl in the anime and if you want to get involve then watch this one. It's not groundbreaking or life changing but it has proven one thing: you need to defend your waifu on those people who are against her. #Nisekoi #EAPP2017 #Onodera4waifu
