Review of Attack on Titan

Okay so this is probably a long overdue review since this anime has been out for 10 years now but I figured now is a best as time as any to write this review. As of this writing, The Final episode of Attack on Titan is just a day away, So let's begin. My review might be a bit biased too since I've been watching this series since its premiere in 2013. So its a series I cherish tbh. Story : I'm sure everyone who has even seen a little bit of this series will know just how masterful the story writing is. Isayama introduced such a boldconcept of Titans which at the time was so unprecedented and it caught the attention of even non-anime watchers. I'm a mangareader so I already know the ending and I didnt hate it quite honestly. You can argue about that but the beginning and the journey till the ending is just a 10/10.

Art/Animation : Where do I start oh boy, Back when Wit made the first season it completely blew everyone away due to its gorey and visceral visuals. The Character designs and Animation is just stellar even today its unmatched. Mappa picked where Wit left (After sesson 3) but they've also done a phenomenal job so 10/10 here.

Characters : Despite being set in an apocalyptic world ending situation, The characters still retain their charm. Every single one feels like its doing something for the story and they're used quite nicely. But dont get too attached to any one of them as Isayama doesn't shy away from killing them haha. Stellar cast of characters 10/10.

Soundtrack : This isnt even a debate or argument, I think Aot has one of THE BEST Soundtracks, including Openings and Endings in all of anime easily.
Linked Horizon and Hiroyuki Sawano really carried the series to new heights with their music.

Enjoyment and Verdict: When you watch something for such a long time, it becomes a part of your life. This is what happened to me when I started this anime, If any new anime watcher is reading this review then 100 percent go into this series blindly and I'm sure you'll Love it.
It also played a huge role in making Anime mainstream, I'm not even kidding. It has become a global phenomenon and it has already cemented itself as a modern classic no doubt. Our children will be watching this show for sure.
You may perhaps hate the ending or like it but I respect Isayama for going with his original vision instead of catering to fans by giving them an ending they want.
That's a really bold move which deserves to be appreciated.
Isayama sensei has managed to create a Masterpiece simply.
