Review of Devilman: Crybaby

Overall... just mid, nothing note worthy, not even a single pixel, just a basic ass show. The story.... was just confusing, it started off as one thing, and a few plot twists later, I was just kinda questioning if there is even a point to the story anymore. I'd say the show is much more enjoyable if you completely ignore the story, cause the visuals weren't too bad. To segue into visuals, they were pretty sick tbh, a lot of gore, characters had very fine detail in terms of clothing, hair n other stuff. Also a lot of sex and nudity... like... A LOT, I'd say there was a50/50 split between blood n guts and ass n tits.

Characters were dull af, but since the story was dead as is, the poor characters didn't rly ruin it.
The MC (Fudou dude) had a cool concept in terms of being able to sense when someone is crying on the inside... but that's about the only positive I can come up with.

I will rate the second to last episode a 10/10 though, just pure brutality, no remorse, in moments where the hero could have ''saved the day'', the hero was no where to be seen, and it really gave this fresh feel, cause we are so used to the hero always saving everyone and bringing justice, but in this episode.... boy oh boy was human brutality put to the test.
