Review of Parasyte: The Maxim

Parasyte... what can I say. I didn't know how much hype you brought until I saw you. Pros: Debatable (in a good way concept) Concept, Madhouse's awesome animation, and voice acting was great. Cons: Maybe 1 or 2 down episodes which is expected, creepy soundtrack played over and over, some anti-climatic battle scenes. It took me couple episodes to get completely indulged in the show. This is most certainly Madhouse's better works. It is up there with Death Parade, Death Note, and Hunter x Hunter. The fact that this concept relates so much to how we view live in general gives me a reason to keep watching andsee how Shinichi matures and fights show great characterization.
I would most definitely recommend this any anime enthusiast.
But to warn you, there is a good amount of gore and blood, since its a well-done horror.
