However, a word of advice to prospective newcomers to the Fate series: while Fate/Zero is the earliest chronologically, it assumes a certain level of familiarity with its universe, making it advisable to begin with one of the STAY NIGHT routes, preferably UFOTABLE's "Unlimited Blade Works," for a more seamless introduction. Writing/Dialogue Fate/Zero truly shines in its masterful portrayal of compelling character relationships, which lies at the heart of its narrative brilliance. Throughout the series, viewers are treated toa treasure trove of brilliantly written dialogue that not only adds depth to the characters but also elevates the overall storytelling to unparalleled heights. I love this show, its dark, sometimes funny, and its epic. The one thing that holds it back is one of its episodes (and the cliff-hanger ending i guess) . There was an episode featuring Rin Tohsaka, a Fate/Stay night character. The episode was pointless and served only as fan service for people who wanted to see their favourite girl as a child. (This was proved in the comment section of where i watched the episode, Jesus Christ...) Other than this episode, the show is wonderful and captivating.
