Review of Black Butler

Kuroshitsuji...why do I love you so? I can't explain why I have no problem enjoying it, but at the same time, I've seen MUCH better. I mean, the story is good enough. But the fanservice gets annoying after a while. I mean, really? Is half of it necessary? There's no denying (for me, anyway) that I love Sebastian for being...Sebastian. But really, there's no real character growth...at least not enough for me to rate it higher. In short, Kuroshitsuji is my almost-guilty pleasure. I mean, it's senseless fun. I wish it tried harder though, because it's obvious that the show tries to hard, or just doesn't care.I'm leaning towards the latter.

But, anyway, I would advise anyone to at least give it a shot. I mean, at least you might be amused by the over-the-top characters.
