Review of A Certain Magical Index

The comedic moments was alright but can sometimes get tedious, but people who cannot suspend their sense of disbelief can sometimes be annoyed/frustrated with those moments. The storytelling and worldbuilding is pretty good, although occasionally, some things can be confusing, like the power explanations and whatnot. OST and sound effects are exceptional and the characters are interesting enough, good enough that you can be invested in the plot. Overall, it's enjoyable enough, although it does not honour the original source material, some things are changed or removed and the explanations that made the original source material's world so nuanced. It did a decent job though, and I supposeit did it's purpose of trying to advertise the light novels, teasing a bit of potential where it can be fully realised in the light novels.
