This is in my opinion a hidden gem of animation. I love the style and the simplicity of the story and characters. I mean, he's 8man, what's better than that!?! So what if the story and character-work is basic as all, it's still fun, kind of like Speed Racer. I used to watch this with speed racer with my mother, who used to watch these when she was young. At first I thought he was called eightman because he had 8 powers, kind of like a Marvel comics villain, but to no avail. Eightman is a great character and sadly the other shows/movies, etc, of him arenot good. I wish this got a good remake, but it doesn't need it.

I enjoy the absolute pants out of this.
