Review of Bakemonogatari

My first approach to Bakemonogatari was 2 years ago, back then I couldn't figure out the phenomenon of this series. For me, It was a weird harem, but now I fully understand why it is a masterpiece. I made one big mistake when I was watching it for the first time..I wasn't open-minded on peculiar series.I didn't treat it like an art and deep production but like an average harem.This time when I sit down to this series with an open mind and I paused every panel with the main character thoughts (those who watched know what I mean)and I read them.I have one problemwith story judge,plot is complex and for somebody, it might be annoyed.On first glimpse it is a standard story,protagonist is not special (but gradually we start seeing why Arraragi is interesting character)and he is surrounded but beautiful girls and they love him....but complexity is on different level compared to other harems. Artistics side is the strongest cons of bakemonogatari(art,sound).Universe is well created, surrounding looks minimalistic but exceptional and warm colors did excellent work.Openings are beautifull and songs are catchy for ears.For me the weakest point of bake are characters.Personally,I dont like kind guy like Araragi and he wasn't special at all.On the other hand,Girls were interesting,all of them had unique story-and this structure: every ark was about one girl and her problem.Futhermore they were cute and pretty :).To sum up,bakemonogatarai is not for eveyone,for me it was great but my preferences are not normal.If you are open-minded person and you are fascinated about not realistics ideas,I fully recommend it.
