I have seen mixed reviews for this series and I am unsure as to why people dislike it. The story starts off a little slow but after about 2 episodes you really get hooked following the adventures of Guin who is trying to figure out just who exactly he is. A lot of reviews say this series doesn't really have much of an ending and that cannot be farther from the truth as it shows all of our main characters going their separate ways and Guin getting back to his main goal of finding out who he is. I don't see this as an issuebecause the ending is what got me to pick up the series novel and manga just to figure out what happened next!!! Guin spent the entire series helping other people and it was about time he got back to his original goal of finding out more about his lore! His lore was the best part of the series besides the world building of empires and our main cast of characters! If you are looking for an anime with great character development, awesome fight scenes and just overall good story of the rise and fall of empires then WATCH Guin Saga! You won't be disappointed.
