Review of The World God Only Knows

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai, shortened as KamiNomi; here is an anime than once caught my sight some time ago. Let me share my thoughts about it and this review. NOTE: I based this review on the first two seasons of the anime since they're quite similar STORY: 7/10 I may find the story of this anime to be quite an original work, but I don't really find it all that great. Here you have a protagonist who is a gamer yet rejects reality and later finds himself tasked to find and seal loose souls by being romantically intimate with the possessed victim - which are allgirls. It's clear that this is a harem. But I don't dislike it because of that. I'm quite dubious about the main concept here. Nonetheless I was amused by the show by its humor which at some points are clear reference to other anime shows. The story has direction and the romance between characters are depicted very nicely. Oh, there is also some fan-service here and there and were executed adequately. So I assure you that the story won't leave a bad taste in your mouth.

CHARACTERS: 7/10
I really found the characters here lovable. They have colorful personalities and has great development as the story progresses - even our anti-reality protagonist. My personal favorite is Haqua by the way.

VISUAL AND AUDIO QUALITY: 8/10
The visual quality didn't astound me that much as I've seen many iterations of it in different anime shows of the same genre. Nonetheless I found it pretty and the animations run very well in all scenes.
In audio; the seiyuus and their roles are nothing to complain about as they did their jobs well if not perfect. The soundtrack is pleasant and memorable as well

OVERALL: 8/10
It may not be outstanding that it overshadows many anime shows, KamiNomi is still a great anime. It has comedy, romance, lovable characters and a story that will really get your attention. And I can tell that will have a fun experience watching this. But the final verdict is up to depending your preferences.
